You've discovered us in the development stages of our hop growing adventure.   As a home brewer, I've been hit by the hop price increases and shortages over the past year.  As a hop grower, I'm setting out to insure the availability of our favorite varieties.  I've recently teamed up with a local farming family to establish hops in a section of their fields in Livingston County Michigan.  I will be transplanting the Cascade and Northern Brewer varieties I've been growing in my home garden (the image above are cascade hops from last year) and establishing a significant amount of other favorite varieties as well.  What are your favorite hop varieties?  Take our survey to let us know and I'll try to get them in the ground.  Please check back as I develop this site and watch the blog for updates on the progress of Heritage Hops.
